   The Ultratech will forever set the standard for all out-the-front knives. Ultratech is Microtech’s original dual action out-the-front knife and has been the foundation of their entire OTF line. Over the years, it has gone through several modifications, each time becoming more efficient and reliable. This version is a special edition model created for the 2017 Tactical Knife Invitational in Las Vegas and has one of the most fearsome and awesome blades in existence. It's a single edged tanto version of the wicked awesome Hellhound shape with the trademark fluting and thumb ramp jimping. The handle is aluminum with black Mil-Spec hard coat anodizing and the TKI logo emblazoned on the presentation side. The pocket clip is marked with the manufacturing date of 01/2017 in addition to Tony's signature and the Microtech claw logo. The Ultratech's spring remains in an "at rest" position at all times except when deployed. This ensures that the compressed spring will not become fatigued, assuring users that when the knife is fired, it will operate effectively. The Ultratech's lightweight, one handed open and close action, slim shape, and scalpel sharp blade makes it a one of a kind knife, only available through Microtech. This knife has proven time and again that it can withstand any obstacle.

   The 2017 TKI Box Set includes a Blackside Customs black anodized aircraft grade aluminum belt buckle, a Lucas Burnley Cypop with Steel Flame skull embellishment, and a Greg Stevens Design Cypop Cozie in addition to the Hellhound Tanto Ultratech.

   1998年和1999年Microtech被刀锋杂志评选为生产质量奖， 2000年凭Lightfoot LCC获得年度合作奖。除了标准产品，也接单为客户定制刀具。使用了计算机控制的机床减少误差，手柄使用6061-T6铝合金材料并且经过阳极电镀，刀刃是采用美国产的154CM钢材。 Microtech在材料和工艺方面终身保用，提供表面修复和零件替换服务。
