    The General Lee 2 from QTRMSTR is affectionately known as the "pace car" for the knife industry in 2016, released on January 1st. It features many design innovations Grant & Gavin Hawk are known for in a unique design that you probably haven't seen or held before. It's quality through and through and truly an awesome blade.

    The QTR-11 is a collaborative effort with the Hawk Knives design team from Idaho City, ID. The full-titanium rocker chassis is unlike anything that's ever been made in the history of tactical knives. Each piece is individually milled and assembled by hand to exacting tolerances. Each part has been cut by wire EDM, milled to shape, then smoothed by hand, for a perfect fit and durable finish.

    Out in front, QTRMSTR has installed a lightly stonewashed CPM-S35VN tanto blade with brushed satin flats, blood grooves and milled holes that glide effortlessly with the help of its design-integrated flipper. The dual thumb studs provide ample purchase and double as the blade stop when in the open position.

    Beware - no knife in the world has opening/closing action like this one. It operates more like the suspension of a Formula One race car than it does a traditional folding knife. Its action is fascinating, innovative and tough to put down.

About the Ceramic ORB Pivot System

The ORB Pivot System is a sealed ceramic ball-bearing technology that is widely considered the second generation of an open-bearing system that is being used by some manufacturers today.

The ORB's advantages are plenty: dirt and pocket lint cannot impede the track of these rollers as they're encased. The ball-bearing system tightens the tolerances in and around the pivot of the folding knife. As a result, the lockup is vault tight, yet the rollers allow for almost effortless rotation.

The lack of 'play' at any point on the rotational axis of the blade is truly unlike anything currently being made at this price point in the United States.
