About the HALO IV: Do you love the HALO V, but it is just a bit too large of a knife for you? Well, the all new HALO IV is not merely a sized down version of the HALO V, but rather a whole new animal. Second, the chassis of the HALO IV has some sexy like Kate Upton curves to it. The subtle scallops along the sides give it a whole new look and feel in the hand. Along with the bits of grooved jimping in just the right places, the HALO IV feels great in the hand. In addition, the HALO IV has a pocket clip! Set includes a kydex safety sheath with retention lanyard. Just clip the sheath lanyard to your pocket, when you pull the knife out of your pocket, the lanyard will catch and cause it the sheath to fall away, and then you deploy the knife.
HALO IV is smaller (9.25" long opened) than the HALO V (10.75" long opened) making it a bit more EDC friendly
Machined titanium pocket clip with a silicone nitride bearing to make it easy to deploy out of your pocket
Includes safety sheath with lanyard
The Blade: Hand ground M390 stainless steel with Tony's incredible mirror finish on the bevels and brushed flats.
The Frame: Kind of hard to describe the cool color on the hard anodized aluminum chassis. Depending on the light, it can look super dark brown, or almost plumb. By plumb we mean think like the sets of polymer Russian AK furniture. Drawbar, clip, and hardware are glass bead natural finish for contrast.
